Meet the Team
We recognize that all of our patients are unique and deserve to receive dental care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented dental team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding dental experience every time you visit our practice. We are pleased to welcome you and your family, and we look forward to working with you.
As a dental hygienist, my passion involves education and health. It’s important that patients receive excellent care and are always aware of the most current dental trends in order for them to make positive health choices. I appreciate that we work with a broad spectrum of the population, young and old, and diverse backgrounds and from all over the world.
Originally from the Pacific Northwest, I am an outdoor enthusiast and love to travel. I have a Goldendoodle named Ziggy, who is more like my child. Cooking is very therapeutic and relaxing for me; each night, I try a new recipe. I also regularly attend hot yoga classes and love to walk with my dog.
I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from CWU in 1992 and my AAS in dental hygiene from Shoreline Community College in 1997. As a member of the Aesthetic Dental Associates team, I tend to our patients’ oral hygiene needs and provide education on improving their oral health. I enjoy getting to know my patients and building relationships with them while helping them move forward with their dental goals. Above all, I strive to provide quality care and a comfortable dental experience for my patients.
I am a Washington native and grew up waterskiing, beach combing, and boating in the Puget Sound. I enjoy snow skiing, cycling, and scuba diving, taking walks with my yorkie-poo, and traveling to new places.
I’ve been working in the dental field for more than 36 years, starting as an assistant and moving my way out to the front desk. I joined Aesthetic Dental Associates in 1995. I am responsible for coordinating treatment, scheduling appointments, answering the phone, greeting patients, and collecting patient payments after treatment.
I love meeting new patients, seeing them frequently, and helping them achieve their dental goals and a beautiful smile.
I am married with three children and many grandkids. I love to cook, shop, do Mission Outreach for my church, and I love sports. In my free time, I love to watch sports, decorate my home, and do volunteer work at church. I have a dog named Ginger who I spoil and enjoy taking for long walks.
I began my career in dentistry when I was 16, answering phones up front at a dental practice, and when I turned 18, I became the front desk person. Eventually, I became the office manager. As the practice manager of Dr. Johnson’s office, I establish staff schedules, am in charge of the daily duties of our staff, and ensure quality patient care. Interacting with our patients is the best part of the job. I enjoy going over treatment plans with patients, getting to know more about them, and helping to make sure they have a pleasant time in our office.
In my spare time, I enjoy taking my dog Bailey to the dog park, spending time with my family going camping, shopping, and last minute weekend road trips to small towns, or whatever we decide. I also am newly into gardening, so I have spent a lot of my spare time reading and learning about plants!
I recently joined the Aesthetic Dental Associate’s team, bringing with me more than 20 years of experience in dental assisting. I graduated from the dental assisting program at Lake Washington Technical College with an Associate’s Degree in Dental Assisting in 1998. I also have an Associate’s Degree in Chemistry, and am a CPR-certified Registered Dental Assistant.
Dr. Johnson is a pleasure to work with. He is confident, funny, and can put any patient at ease. I think it’s fantastic that several staff members have been working with him for decades, and I look forward to being a part of such a long-standing team.
I live with my cat Baudelaire. I volunteer for Purrfect Pals Cat adoption center. I love the performing arts and have been a subscriber to the Seattle Symphony and Seattle Opera for many years. I also enjoy creating makeup looks to match the performances and singing various musical styles.
I’ve spent the last five years gaining experience as a dental assistant, and am so excited to be a part of Dr. Johnson’s team! I work alongside both doctors to provide assistance during procedures, and offer comfort and care for our patients. My goal is to help patients have a good experience and empower them to take interest in their oral health. I enjoy being a part of a team that is caring, efficient, and does our best.
I’m a native Washingtonian from a small town, and am now enjoying life in a big city! Besides work, I go to school part-time for nursing and enjoy hiking, live music, long walks, and playing basketball.
