Dental hygienist Heather

As a dental hygienist, my passion involves education and health. It’s important that patients receive excellent care and are always aware of the most current dental trends in order for them to make positive health choices. I appreciate that we work with a broad spectrum of the population, young and old, and diverse backgrounds and from all over the world.

Originally from the Pacific Northwest, I am an outdoor enthusiast and love to travel. I have a Goldendoodle named Ziggy, who is more like my child. Cooking is very therapeutic and relaxing for me; each night, I try a new recipe. I also regularly attend hot yoga classes and love to walk with my dog.

I’ve been working in the dental field for more than 36 years, starting as an assistant and moving my way out to the front desk. I joined Aesthetic Dental Associates in 1995. I am responsible for coordinating treatment, scheduling appointments, answering the phone, greeting patients, and collecting patient payments after treatment.

I love meeting new patients, seeing them frequently, and helping them achieve their dental goals and a beautiful smile.

I am married with three children and many grandkids. I love to cook, shop, do Mission Outreach for my church, and I love sports. In my free time, I love to watch sports, decorate my home, and do volunteer work at church. I have a dog named Ginger who I spoil and enjoy taking for long walks.

Annette

I have been in the dental field for over 30 years and I love what I do. I love the feeling of how dentistry can truly change someone’s life for the better. It gives me great pleasure watching a person’s whole life change with a new smile.

I grew up in the Kent area and traveled some with the military. I have two grown children and four grandchildren that live out of the state whom I love to travel to and see as often as I can. Grandkids are truly a blessing.

I enjoy going to Seahawks games, watching Seattle Thunderbird hockey, and really any sports. I love to go to comedy shows as I believe laughing is the best medicine in life. I love to travel as much as possible from long vacations in the sun to destinations such as Italy, to weekend getaways in Seattle.

I recently joined the Aesthetic Dental Associate’s team, bringing with me more than 20 years of experience in dental assisting. I graduated from the dental assisting program at Lake Washington Technical College with an Associate’s Degree in Dental Assisting in 1998. I also have an Associate’s Degree in Chemistry, and am a CPR-certified Registered Dental Assistant.

Dr. Johnson is a pleasure to work with. He is confident, funny, and can put any patient at ease. I think it’s fantastic that several staff members have been working with him for decades, and I look forward to being a part of such a long-standing team.

I live with my cat Baudelaire. I volunteer for Purrfect Pals Cat adoption center. I love the performing arts and have been a subscriber to the Seattle Symphony and Seattle Opera for many years. I also enjoy creating makeup looks to match the performances and singing various musical styles.

Robin

I’m Robin, AKA “Bean,” Dr. Hurliman’s assistant. I have been in dentistry for a number of years and still enjoy every aspect of working with patients to enhance their smiles! One of my favorite things to do for patients is Zoom! Bleaching.

My hobbies include cooking, knitting, and am passionate about painting oils and pastels. I commission my work throughout the halls of the Medical-Dental Building, check it out sometime. I also dabble with pottery and sculpting, both for the office and at home. I have two parrots that I often bring to the office. You can ask to hold them on your shoulder or head. I also have an iguana (Alex), I like to take for walks in the evening after work.

I am an avid scooter rider in the summer, you can see me zipping through the streets of downtown after hours. I teach piano on Mondays as well as volunteer for many community programs.
