Robert E. Johnson, DDS, FAGD
I love what I do, and I’m proud to give our patients the highest level of dental care. I am here to help you accomplish your goals in the most caring and understanding manner possible. We pledge to treat you with the same respect and cooperation that we would want for ourselves, and to help you have good-looking, healthy teeth that will last a lifetime.
With more than 20 years of experience, it is still such a privilege to take care of patients’ oral health needs and provide them with excellent dental health. The maintenance or cosmetic improvements that I provide can change lives for the better, and that is what gives me personal satisfaction.
I take great pride in my profession and enjoy working with my diverse patient population to ensure the highest quality of dental care and compassion. It is very rewarding to provide the finest quality of dental treatment with a level of care and compassion that creates life-long friendships.
Education and Continuing Education
- Lakeside High School, 1975
- Bachelor of Arts Degree – University of Washington, 1979
- Doctorate of Dental Surgery – University of Washington School of Dentistry, 1983
I continually take dental courses to educate myself on the latest information and techniques, therefore providing my patients with the most up-to-date dental treatment. As a part of my continuing studies, I have attended over 2100 hours of continuing education courses. I have been awarded a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, which requires 500 hours of approved continuing dental education and passing a six-hour examination.
I have practiced in the Medical Dental building for over 20 years. During this time, I have been an assistant professor in the Department of Oral Medicine, a former auxiliary faculty in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Washington, and on the surgical staff of Overlake Hospital and the Westlake Surgical Center.

I grew up in Seattle, and I am proud to raise my children here. My wife, Linda, and I have a son named Bobby and a daughter named Amy. We also live with our dog, Bentley! In my spare time, I enjoy waterskiing and snow skiing, family activities, and playing racquetball.
I am also active in our community as a member of the Seattle Rotary #4 since 1994, the Rotary Community Service Committee, Seattle King County Dental Society, Donated Dental Services Program, and the Swedish Hospital volunteer provider for the kidney transplant program.
