Giving You One More Reason to Smile
When you look in the mirror, are you satisfied with your smile, or do you hesitate to show it off? Cosmetic dentistry utilizes a combination of science, technology, and art to craft a smile that will enhance your individual features and your composition. Whether you want to correct a few dental blemishes or transform your smile, we can help you achieve your smile goals with our cosmetic services.
Teeth Whitening
Having a white smile is a sign of optimal health and youth. Whether you have an upcoming event, or just want to rejuvenate your look, a teeth whitening treatment will help you achieve a bright white smile.
At our office, we utilize Phillips Zoom® whitening treatments. Zoom is a non-invasive way to lift stains and lighten your smile in about an hour. The treatment protects enamel, reduces sensitivity, and delivers dramatic results.
Bonding
Bonding is a conservative way to repair slightly chipped, discolored, gapped, or stained teeth. During the dental bonding procedure, your tooth will be etched to receive the bonding composite. This gives the bonding material a surface to bond with. Then, your dentist will apply the composite and sculpt it to blend with the contours of your smile.
The treatment takes about an hour and is virtually pain-free. Bonding is less expensive than other cosmetic treatments and can typically be completed in one visit to our office. Unfortunately, bonding isn’t as durable as other cosmetic treatments, such as porcelain veneers. If it does break or chip, contact our office right away. Dental bonding can usually be repaired in one visit.
Porcelain Veneers
Veneers can conceal your teeth’s imperfections to help you achieve a more confident, beautiful smile. If your teeth are misshapen, chipped, cracked, broken, gapped, or discolored, veneers can discreetly mask the flaws. Veneers are customized tooth-colored shells that are bonded to the fronts of teeth to transform your smile’s appearance. They’re made of porcelain which ensures they blend seamlessly with your smile.
During your initial consultation, one of our dentists will examine your oral health and determine if veneers would be the ideal treatment for you or they may recommend an alternative treatment. Before placing your new veneer, your dentist will shave the enamel of your teeth to allow room for your new veneers and provide your teeth a surface to bond with.
During your second visit, we’ll adjust your veneers and cement them in place. Then, you’ll leave our office with your new stunning smile. While veneers are stain-resistant, our dentists may recommend that you avoid coffee, tea, red wine, and tobacco to maintain the beauty of your new smile. They may take some getting used to, so you’ll want to practice speaking at home and slowly incorporate new food into your diet.
Invisalign®
With Invisalign, we can transform your smile in about half the amount of time as braces! Invisalign utilizes a series of clear aligner trays that gently shift your teeth into their desired positions. They’re removable so you won’t have to worry about altering your diet or lifestyle.
Best of all, they’re virtually invisible to those around you. No need to worry about unsightly metal wires and brackets that come with braces. During your initial consultation, we’ll show the results of your treatment so you can decide.

How long does dental bonding last on front teeth?
With proper oral hygiene and biannual visits to our Seattle office for checkups, dental bonding can last ten years or more. In addition to any aftercare instructions recommended by our dentists, we advise patients to avoid biting into hard foods which can cause the bonding composite to chip.
What are the care instructions for porcelain veneers?
After receiving your new smile, you’ll want to follow a few guidelines to ensure the longevity of your pearly whites. These include:

- Avoid biting into apples, carrots, or anything that might damage your veneers
- Refrain from biting into hard candies
- Stay away from bones when eating foods like chicken wings or chicken legs.
- Wear a bite guard if you grind your teeth

How long do the teeth whitening effects last?

- Avoid tobacco use
- Limit food and beverages that tend to stain
- Use a straw
- Brush your teeth twice a day, floss daily, and rinse after meals
